Carrying on Furukawa Electric Group founder Ichibei Furukawa’s desire to “make Japan brighter”, we have leveraged our honed technological capabilities in the four areas of “Metals”, “Polymers”, “Photonics” and “High-frequency” and proposal capabilities based thereon in an effort to solve various social issues with the aim of maintaining security and comfort in daily life and facilitating social progress and development in the fields of infrastructure, including telecommunications and energy, as well as automotive products and electronics.
Currently, we are promoting management centered on our Purpose of “Composing the core of a brighter world”, and directed at achieving the Furukawa Electric Group Vision 2030, we are working to strengthen and transform the existing business and develop new technologies, products and services.
We will continue and enhance these initiatives with the aim of composing the core for the future and brightening the world, and by doing so, we will respond to our stakeholders’ expectations for sustainable growth of Furukawa Electric Group.
