- Optical fiber and cable production at the Mie Works has been using electric power generated from substantially renewable energy since the start of FY2023
- Expect to reduce CO2 emissions (Scope 2) from the electric power used at the factory by 22,000 tons per year

note 1Along with being able to claim the use of substantially renewable energy, the certificates can also be used for RE100 reports. An agreement was concluded for FY2023 (April 1, 2023 – March 31, 2024), and it is planned to renew the agreement thereafter on an ongoing basis.
