Off-site manufacturing reduces on-site installation work and minimizes hazardous tasks at height. Unlike glass wool, the material does not absorb moisture, maintaining stable performance and preventing the release of fibers or dust during and after installation. Lining the inside of ducts also helps prevent the spread of metal corrosion particles (metal whiskers) that could impact server infrastructure.
(note) Metal whiskers are needle-like metal crystals that can naturally form on tin or zinc plated surfaces. Their growth between electronic circuits can lead to short circuits and system failures.
Features
-
Less On-Site Work, Faster Installation
Factory pre-lined ducts reduce insulation work on site, enabling faster and more efficient installation.
-
Improved Worksite Safety
Eliminating high-level insulation work indoors and racking work outdoors significantly improves installation safety.
(note) Outdoor applications require internal duct lining only
-
Closed-Cell Insulation Structure
The closed-cell structure resists moisture absorption, maintaining insulation performance and preventing corrosion of duct steel. Unlike glass wool, it provides predictable and effective condensation control.
-
Non-Combustible Material Approved for Indoor HVAC Ducts
The insulation is bonded to duct steel and certified as non-combustible under Japanese law (MLIT approval NM-4531).
Moisture
Resistant
Closed-cell construction keeps insulation dry, maintaining performance over time even in humid conditions.
